Razberry Pro Firmware / SDK

Post by Gaby »

Dear Team,

I recently bought another Razberry Pro which comes with firmware v7.6 and SDK v7.15.4 according to the controller information from Home Assistant. The previous Razberry Pro is working with firmware v7.36 and SDK v7.19.2
I mounted the ZWay SD for Raspberry to check firmware updates and Zway says that the latest is 7.36,.. what is the point with this v7.6? which is the latest Razberry Pro firmware and SDK?

Thanks in advance and Best Regards
Gerardo

7.36 is the latest. 7.6 (7.06) is the one programmed on production line

@PoltoS
Is there any changelog available between 7.28 and 7.36? Any advantages or improvvements?

New SDK and fixed Z-Wave code reboot on failed nodes. This is improving the stability dramatically

I was thinking also to downgrade to the previous version, it could be a coincidence but since I updated to 7.36 my Z-wave network crashes every few hours (max 20h). It could be another reason but I didn't include any new device and my set-up is large but stable for years. What I notice is that z-wave devices are not found suddenly, all devices appear as dead. I have to reboot HA (sometimes more than once) to get them up and running.
I have not had any issues with RF signal, all devices are in the range of -70 dBm and the noise floor is about -110 dBm. Most of devices are reachable with direct connection and a few with just one hop.
Logs don't show anything special, just Z-Wave integration doesn't work anymore.
Any hint?
PS: running Razberry Pro (700) and HA

What is new in 7.36? I have some issues aswell, some battery devices turn up as dead.
But the device seems to still report data so it cannot be dead :)

It was updated to a new SiLabs SDK.

Please provide Z-Way logs so we can check them.

As for the Home Assistant, do you use Z-Wave.Me intergration or Z-WaveJS? We are not super good in reading Z-WaveJS logs, but let's try.

Devices doesn't listen when trying to manually set switch, I have tried to turn of switch #54 without any luck. Try check the logs for any clues:
