Migrating from Razberry to Ubuntu with z-wave USB (no access to z-wave devices)

Post by ibins30 »

Hi there,

I want to virtualize my Razberry, so instead of Using a Razberry, I want to install Ubuntu on a virtual Machine and USe the z-wave Me USB Stick.
The big problem is, I don't have access to zwave devices. Some of them are inside the wall. Is there a way to Migrate and keep all my pairings?

Thanks for reading.

You should be able to do a backup from within Z-Way. There are two backup options and only one of them would include the Z-Wave devices. I would perform both backups before doing anything. Restore to the new system, shut the old system down and then start verifying that everything works.
