Zwave.me and Home Assistant Is it still workable ?

Hello forum and Bonne Année belatedly

I have a new version 7 Razberry card and want to use it with docker in Home Assistant .

I would be very grateful if anyone who is doing that would encourage me ( or otherwise ! ).
Is that still a workable proposition ? If yes, is the Docker approach the best, perhaps only way ?

I had a stab today at getting the version 7 working on a Pi 5 with Home Assistant and with the "help" of AI , figured why that isn't possible .

Thank you if you can comment and for reading,

Best wishes to all.

It is easy to get it working. You need two things, the add-on and the integration. You need to install the add-on first which is the Docker version of Z-Way.

Add-on:
https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/ha-z-wave-me-addon

Once you have that up and running and can access Z-Way, then the integration is available by just adding an integration and finding it in the list; using the search will speed it up. Search for Z-way or zway. Add the integration, tell it the IP address, typical port number for Z-Way and the credentials to connect and it is up and running.
