As far as I can tell, users who do not have admin rights can not add an element which they have access to to their dashboard. This makes the dashboard effectively admin-only, though I can't see any justification for that. If I temporarily make a user admin (s)he can set up a dashboard which then remains visible and useful after I revoke the admin rights.

I think the issue is that Zway blocks access to the element settings, but this is the only way (that I'm aware of) to put an element on the dashboard. So my suggestion is either to relax this constraint or add another way to add elements to the dashboard.

This is possible in v2.3.8. You should first grant access to devices to the user and then the user can add them to it's own dashboard.
