The flex wire antenna on the Z-Uno chip works well for me.

But on the Z-Uno module, we no longer get an antenna. I would like to buy a through hole mounted flexible wire antenna that is the same as on the dev board but can't find anything on any of the shops I check. Anyone know where to get such an antenna?

A multicore 1 sq mm isolated wire is recommended. You should be able to find it in any shop with broad assortment of electrical goods like Obi, Leroy Merlin or Hornbach.
