Unable to use Z-uno 2 rev6
Posted: 17 Sep 2021 18:51
Hello,
I am, for quite a long time now, using Z-uno001 (rev?) without any trouble. I recently ran out of stock (5 boards currently doing their job) and I order new ones (from Switzerland).
I have received 4 Z-uno 2 Rev 6 and Arduino is unable to speek with them. My Arduino is V1.6.5, freshly re-installed and board package is V2.1.7)
I hope you can help.
1rst Symptom:
When I select the Serial port , what i see is: TOOLS>PORT "COM6" instead of TOOLS>PORT "COM6 (Z-Wave>ME Z-Uno)"
2nd Symptom: when I try to run bootloader I get the following screen:
Openning port ..............................
Openning port .............................. OK
Stoping the user code ..............................
Stoping the user code .............................. OK
Closing port ..............................

the selected serial port
does not exist or your board is not connected
I am running under windows10 64b. I have loaded the CP2102 USB drivers from silabs.com.
Arduino freshly resinstalled, PC restarted. Usb driver unistalled/reinstalled Rescue mode and factory reset tried.
Boards seem to be working (blinking white & green Leds, normal behaviour when entering rescue)
RQ when in above screen copy Arduino says Stoping the user code.............................. OK it is false, white led continue 'as if'.
If I plug the 'Z-Uno0001 HW" with the same config it works 100% without touching anything. But note that the two HW are not using same USB HW/drivers.
End of the day I am suspecting more and more the USB driver rather than Arduino?
I really hope that someone has an (good) idea?
Thanks in advance
