Of course, this depends on my Razberry staying alive, and if not, an alternative board appearing (I note there seem to be no Razberry boards for sale now). USB dongles are a possibility I assume.

Any comments?
This is based upon previous statements by @PoltoS.

Trident just sells chips, so someone would need to make a Razberry board or a USB dongle with the Trident chip.

I ran into an issue with restoring a Z-Way backup from Raspberry Pi that hosted it directly to a Z-Way Add-on (now called an app) running under Home Assistant. The issue I ran into was after the restore the path to the Razberry board was no longer found and I was not able to get it to work. I didn't do much beyond that as I just bit the bullet and had Z-Way use the controller to populate the devices into Z-Way and put the devices back into the rooms and renamed them. The controller still knew of the devices but Z-Way was a fresh instance. I'm telling you this because if you wanted to see if Home Assistant would be worth changing too, you can use the Z-Way add-on running under Home Assistant as a docker. Then you use the integration to get Z-Way devices into Home Assistant. Z-Way still runs and has all the features of the Z-Way you're running now. So if you can figure out the restore issue, you can continue to have your scripts running under Z-Way and then see what it would take to move them to Home Assistant.
