Experimenting with JS Automation....

Post by Mike Yeager »

I am getting ready to try to figure out how to have the HA code monitor a device and take actions based on the status being monitored changing. I am assuming from what I've digested of the documentation that this is how it's designed. My first goal is to monitor the status of 2 Kwikset deadbolts. Anyone that knows these devices knows that there is a lock status and a user variable that are set when the lock is actuated. Anyone have any experience programming for these that would like to offer me a prod in the right direction?

Haha, I didn't even mean for the pun. Just bumping a thread back to the top. I also want to know the answer to this question.

There are actually a few other threads that make this one pretty much pointless. Now we have logical rules to play with but they don't seem to do what I want as of yet.
