The problem is that SmartHome UI don't support thermostat mode changing, thermostat widget operate only with HEAT mode, so if in Expert UI you set another mode, temperature changing not will be work.

In Expert UI set mode HEAT and try to change temperature from Smarthome UI.

From the control perspective, I think we need an abstract multistateSwitch at the home automation level, that can be set from a scenes and rules.
(I said that at other places as well, but no direct comments on this idea yet)

sidenote: If I had this multiSwitch right now, that would save me from typing once more 40 codeDevice command definitions for all possible StellaZ mode settings
