Login Issue

Post by NAP1947 »

I am new to this and just setup a Pi0 with Z-Wave and was able to login and change my password.

Now I have devices to setup I am not able to login, either from the original iOS or OS.

I get an error that I am not valid.

I have searched both here and the internet without remedy, maybe I am asking the wrong question, lots of login issues but not this one.

Suggestions?

I guess this is more for experience$ users not beginners, is there any other source of help?

That's the normal error message for an invalid password.

You mention iOS, but what other OS are you also trying ?
Preferred browser is Chrome, Clear the cache if you are already using Chrome.
Let's assume you are trying to login locally, eg 192.168.1.x:8083 with something like admin and the password !
or are you logging in remotely … that will also need your remote id.

Micky1500, thank you I got it sorted out.
Another beginner problem, when trying to add my first Z-wave switch device, I get the error shown in the attached screen print from Mac OS, cannot figure out how to get rid of it, cannot add device with it there.

Such error appears when you don't have Z-Wave hardware installed (UZB or RaZberry)
