dead or alive nodes

Post by Mirar »

I have dying nodes now and then - I'm not sure if it's related to my other issues, or something else - but they aren't very dead; sometimes I can wake them up by pushing the button on them. Can I persuade Razberry to probe them a bit harder? It seems like it doesn't want to push packets to the stack if the node is marked dead; can I unmark nodes as dead - without physical action - and have the system try again?

There is a button "ping", "check connection" in expert UI. It will force the probe

Interestingly enough, doing the "ping" or "check connection" (SendNoOperation) seems to stop z-way-server to set the "node failed" properly, even if it never gets a reply.
