I'm new to this forum so first, hello to all!
I was wondering if it was possible to use the Razberry as a device, not as a controller.
I have been looking for a keypad for my Vera gateway but not found anything of worth. So I wanted to create my own using a Raspberry Pi, a touch screen and a Z-wave component so I can talk to the gateway.
RaZberry seems to only focus on making the Pi into a gateway/controller but I want to make it into a device. Something my Vera controller can find and talk to.
Is this possible or should I go another route?

Hey Steinarey, I joined to asked the same question. After fighting with the forum for a while I found the folowing old post. Page 2 seems to suggest it is possible and gives a little bit of information on how. I have not done this myself but plan to in the coming months.

Re: Turn Razberry to a Z-wave device, not a controller
Thanks for the link rudiemcska.
I found the "Start Learn Mode" button under Network > Control and according to the manual it's the button that's supposed to enable the RazBerry to be included as a sec. controller but the button is disabled, can't click it.
If anyone has any idea why and how to enable the button, that would be great!

I reset the RazBerry. I had other devices connected to it and you have to remove them all first. I managed to set it as a secondary controller to my Vera. The RazBerry can't make head or tails of many of the devices though.
