Usbz firmware upgrade help!

Post by Griffin » 10 Nov 2019 02:52

Hi!
I've been trying to update the firmware of my usbz but i cannot get it to upgrade. It's stuck in the same version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what I have:

At first i though that the version 05 1B was the version, so i downloaded the FW version 5.1 to 5.2 I ran the following command:
sudo ./ZMESerialUpdater serialapi_uzbupdate -f firmware_UZB_from_05_01_to_05_02.bin -d /dev/ttyACM0
Nothing chaged

then i ran
sudo ./ZMESerialUpdater serialapi_uzbupdate -b bootloader_UZB_from_05_01_to_34A9.bin -f firmware_UZB_from_05_01_to_05_02.bin -d /dev/ttyACM0
Still nothing.. then I looked and saw the text BOOT BB BB FW 35 7A, so i thought it could be something related to hex... so i looked at 35, which converts to 53 in decimal so i thought huh.. version 5.3 then?

So i ran
sudo ./ZMESerialUpdater serialapi_uzbupdate -b bootloader_UZB_from_05_01_to_34A9.bin -f firmware_UZB_from_05_01_to_05_02.bin -d /dev/ttyACM0
Still the same ouput as before... any pointers would be appreciated!
