What Device Description Record are people using for the 7button Scene Controller?
It doesn't seem to be in the list.

Not using a description record. The new controller doesn't complete the interview either but it works just fine. I have noticed that it sends a series of binary numbers back to the Z-Way controller but it doesn't do anything with them. Maybe this will be addressed in the next version? Also, the commands above currently do not function to change the state of the controller but it's fine. I've found another way to accomplish what I wanted to do.

Were you able to get your original one to work? If so, does the new work work better? Since they both failed to complete the interview.

They both work and they both fail to complete the same part of the interview. I think that the controller isn't processing the data sent back from the interview request. I don't think it's a device problem. The scene controller works fine with Vera... Hopefully they'll fix this in a later version... Did you have questions about the operation of the device itself?

I don't think Vera is performing interview in terms of what z-way does, so the issue just might go unnoticed.
Can you please tell which command classes are not passing interview, and provide an entire log (as attachment)?

Yes, I have questions about how you assign buttons to scenes. How do you do it?

I'll handle both of these requests when I get home in the morning.

Ok. Attached is the portion of the log that relates to the failure to complete the interview. If I'm not mistaken, there is data coming back to the controller, it just doesn't appear to be being processed. The only part of the interview that doesn't complete is VERSION.

Here it is in plain text until I figure out why the file won't attach...

FWIW: Usualy if a file does not properly attach, there is a red error message at the very top of your edit window. The file should not be bigger than some 500K. Some extensions (even .txt) are not allowed. Zips do pass as long as they are smaller than 500K.
