z-wave conditional triggers

Post by southlake »

need some help in thinking out this system...

Have a Honeywell lynx 7000 alarm with z-wave module and about 10 GE Z-Wave light switches throughout the house.

im open to using a new Z-Wave controller / hub if need be...

id like to turn on the backyard flood lights for 20 minutes if its past sunset and i open the rear sliding door (monitored).

id like the house lights to come on with a schedule if the alarm is armed in away status...

---
what ive found is that i can trigger the backyard light to come on if the sliding door is open (only open and no regard to sunset/daylight)
i can set schedules for lights but in no regard to sunset or armed/disarmed status.
----

should i switch to another hub like wink to manage the lighting? or is there a way i can configure my lynx to manage this? would a wink be able to tell the status of the alarm? (away/stay ect)

i feel like the lynx cannot do complex conditions such as "armed and after sunset".... or "disarmed sliding door open trigger rear flood light for 20min when rear slider is opened" ect...
