UZB1 node restore in Homeseer

Post by Sireone »

Hi, I have the UZB1 working with Homeseer Home Automation software. I currently have firmware version 5.0.4 and it's not allowing me to restore my Homeseer ZWave nodes to the controller. Prior to upgrading the firmware, version 5.0.2 allowed me restored my nodes, but not the Home ID (Controller Network ID). Is there something in the new firmware that stopping this? How can I fix it?

Thanks,

Backup/restore is a "proprietary" undocumented function and implemented by controllers in tight relation with specific hardware. Indeed, in UZB1 firmware 5.04 we have changed a lot to fix our own backup/restore function. Unfortunatelly Homeseer people need to change something to supprot our new UZB1 firmware (as they had to make restore work on all previous versions too - in each firmware this changed due to internal problems introduct by Z-Wave SDK). So, the only way is to let Homeseer contact us (or they can fix it by themself) or you can use Z-Way to do backup/restore.
