Business solution possible?

Post by Ignorant »

Hello everyone,

Let me say I am not a programmer and very new to this technology but wanted to look here for some help and to possibly hire someone to help me.

First I would like to see if what I have in mind is possible and if so get an estimate for paying someone to set it up.

What we are trying to do is manage a racquetball court online where a user can come have an account on our website and reserve a court and be issued a unique 1 time numeric code for a court that is good for 1 hour before it expires. We would also like to incorporate other Z Wave products besides the locks like thermostat control, cameras, and possibly motion detectors so that the online input from our website and on site sensors can manage the court without the need for someone to be onsite or sending codes manually.

The meat of the system would be looking at 1 outdoor lock and 6 indoor locks like (or similar to) this:
http://www.schlage.com/en/home/products ... ENFFF.html

If possible I'd like to incorporate cameras, thermostat, and motion detectors to make sure the courts were being used at the right times, monitor the building, and set cooling for times when courts are rented, all working with our website (we would build a new website around this).

So is this possible? Anyone think they could do it? How much are we looking at?

Thanks, Alex

Z-Way has a great HTTP API that you can use to make your own UI.

The UI of Z-Way is open source - you can adopt it or take ideas from it. We will also share a new Z-Way UI soon.
