Sorry, I don't understand. What is 'Public API in Z-Wave Binding' and where can I find it?

Go in SH UI -> Apps -> Active -> Z-Wave Binding -> Public API checkbox. If it is on, then no password is required. This is good for trusted environment and old third party controllers not supporting HTTP API authentication.

OK, I found it in Z-Wave Network Access: Allow public access to Z-Wave API .
Thank you.
