Are there any recommended antennas for the Razberry 7 Pro?
For longer cable runs, has anyone looked at using an active antenna?
Thanks!

Re: RaZberry 7 Pro antenna recommendations
The connector on the Razberry 7 Pro board is a standard connector.
The recommended antenna would be the one that comes with it.
Given how recently it has been released, not many would have them. I have the Raspberry Pi mounted on a DIN rail and then use a plastic DIN rail mount to zip-tie the antenna too.

The description of the Pro on Amazon didn't provide any information about the antenna, so I assumed that I would need to purchase one separately.

Please check: https://www.amazon.com/RaZberry-Pro-Plu ... B09DCR4RSX
It says: The best-in-class antenna designed in the US (by Linx Technologies, Inc.)
The antenna is included in this product

That sentence is why I asked about antenna, all it says that Linx makes the best antenna.PoltoS wrote: ↑10 Jan 2022 02:21Please check: https://www.amazon.com/RaZberry-Pro-Plu ... B09DCR4RSX

That an antenna is included with the purchase, I would say: "Package includes the best in-class Linux ANT-916-CW-HWR-SMA antenna"
I eventually figured out that it came with an antenna, and which one by googling for the Manual ( which is not included on Amazon's product page, or linked to via https://z-wave.me/products/razberry/ ).
Another piece of information that others might find useful is that you need a 1/4 inch drill bit for creating the hole for the antenna ( this assumes someone would want to mount the antenna flush with the case ).
FWIW the smaller board design is nice. I have another friend who is planning converting the board into a USB serial device ( à la Aeotec's description of how to covert their Raspberry Hat into a USB dongle ).
Thanks!
