actions needed after editing config.json

I would like to know what actions are necessary when I edited the config.json file and/or the main.js

Furthermore, what are the 'channel' variables that can be found in the config-sample.json?

After you edited these files you have to do a
sudo /etc/init.d/Z-Way restart
