I purchased my devices from Amazon, can someone verify that they are authentic?

Thanks.

It is authentic.
Can you try it on a Raspberry Pi or some Linux. Please show us the output of "dmesg". I doubt that both are faulty. If the device is blinking, the chip is powered and working well. Cables you have excluded. Last resort: try rescue mode:

I executed <dmesg | tail> both before and after plugging in the device.
There were no new entries in the log.
Can I upload a screen image?

I plugged in my printer and verified that dmesg reported its connection.

And for Z-Uno? Nothing? And in Rescue mode?

There are no entries added to <dmesg | tail> for either rescue mode or factory rest mode.
Are there any dmesg flags that would give more detailed information?
Do you have a high resolution image of both sides of the board so I can check component placement?

Please check:
- the voltage on 3V3 pin
- the voltage on 5V pin
- is LED blinking
If you have accidentally shortcutted Gnd and 5V pins, then the diod (on the left from USB port burned. This happens from time to time with people. Don't worry. You can either replace it or even try to shortcut it (it is to protect USB port when Z-Uno is powered from 5V pin or Vext pin, so in most cases you don't need it).
We are talking about D5 on this schematic:

3.08v on pin 2
4.94v on pin 4
I haven't reversed voltage since I have only used a USB cable, no external power.

On plugging in there is a brief red, then green blink. I then goes into the alternating white/green blink.
Rescue mode is blinking green.
Factory reset is blinking red after holding the button. Then it goes back to white/green after the 3 presses.

Don't you see the device in rescue mode?
Check you cable. Pretty often people use cables from chargers and those sometimes have no data wires
