Hi, I just installed successfully my new razberry board on the raspberrypi (which is running pimatic);
but I'm getting an error in some parts of find.z-wave.me:
what I have:
- plugged little board) into pin 1-10
- software-update successfully finished
- port-forwarded (udp&tcp) port 8084 into the router to ip-address of the raspberry-pi
- logged in at: https://find.z-wave.me
- getting: Error handling data from server
in Expert UI / Z-Way Home Automation UI
- getting: Sorry, server has not completely started yet, Try reloading the interface later.
in Old Expert UI
What have I forgotten?
Error handling data from server
Re: Error handling data from server
is pinmatic based on Raspbian? If not, you need special setup to enable UART port of RPi to become ttyAMA0
Re: Error handling data from server
We need log. Please look here: http://razberry.z-wave.me/index.php?id=29
Re: Error handling data from server
I have exactly the same problem.
Razberry 1.7.1 on an SD card, all updates and upgrades done.
LEDs (LED1 and LED2, red and green) go on for approx. 1 sec during start, then go of
start procedure runs through.
IP Adress is assigned and accessible from remote.
Last lines in the log read
My IP addres is 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
Didn't find local_port file
[FAIL] startpar: service(s) returned failure: zbw_connect ... failed!
Raspbian GNU/Linus 7 raspberrypi tty1
Does anybody have an idea?
This is a brand new pi - so no previous installs. Same for the card - formated as FAT32, nothing else.
Which log-file do you need?
thanks for help

Re: Error handling data from server
I have an answer for this one that worked, but it is so obscure that I would never have come accross it (so kudos for my brother).
Apparently there is an issue with en EEPROM.
Steps that helped me
1. go to your-ip:8084 ==> this is the the RaZberry Configuration Interface
2. go to tab advanced / firmware
3. Downgrading the firmware of the razberry to 1.7.2,
4. unpower, unplug the razberry from the GIO ... wait 1 minute re-plug, repower
5. In my case - this did the trick.
6. go to go to tab advanced / firmware and update the firmware to 2.0.0 again.
All should stay fine - I just added my first device to the razberry.
What I still not understand: what is the ID of the device. The menue does not show it.
Good luck

Re: Error handling data from server
I don't know exacty what solved the problem,
but It helped for me to, updated to the latest software, afterwards to 1,7,2
not sure that downgrade worked-out because he still says software 2,0,0 is running.
thx for the tip
