Yes, tof course - this is my understanding too.

That's why do not understand what happen here with this device.

Attaced the full log after I have resetted the Razberry - to build a fresh network.
I had this issue already before (see above) - that's why wanted to recheck.

Please check log entries after "[2015-11-30 12:07 ...."

Here you see that Thermostat stopped to respond.
After that - sometime responding, sometime not.

Since "[2015-12-01 07:16 ..." it is working again. No changes were made, Thermostat was all the time at same place, Raspberry was not moved (distance 4 meters to thermostat)

Have you any idea what can happen there?
I really think that the Z-Wave module inside the Thermostat may have a problem.

Hm... indeed..

Code: Select all

cat z-way-server-eurotronic.log | grep "SETDATA devices..*.instances.0.commandClasses.132.data.lastWakeup = " | awk '{print $1, $2, $8 - A; A=$8}'
This shows that sometimes device does not wake up anymore for long time. Is it a test network? Can you try to add more Stellas (you can use old one's too)? If same happens, may be also add some other sleeping devices with ~5-10 minutes wakeup interval and check same.

Sure Stella is always reachable during this test?

@pz1 have experienced similar behavior, but in his case this "freezing" was healedonly by sending any command to UZB. In your case it "unhangs" itself.

Yes, it is my test network - for testing Z-Wave devices.
As I wrote - distance is about 4 meters (air).

I have a second Thermostat - will add it tomorrow. There are no more devices in this network, but can add any other sensor.

I never have seen such an effect before, that's why I'm sure it is device related.
Have tested very much different devices (as you know).

In next week can test same configuration with OpenZwave (BTW: devices are working here not with old Aeon Stick...).

Have added second thermostat.

This night the same - the first Thermostat was going into "deep sleep" (is still sleeping now), second is still reporting.
So I think there is a problem (outage) in first thermostat, it's not software related....
