The S0 key should not change over restarts. Make sure that Z-Way was not running while the file was edited.

No it was not running while editing, it could only happened after start up of ZWay again, after editing. Sorry but I give up my planned UZB migration!
I strongly suggest you to implement GUI field for at least editing of S0 Key.
Anyway, in my case, starting with a clean/emphty ZWay I belive it must be something else that is not initiated right to let me just change the S0 Key, because your method does not work, at least not on Windows.
