Here is more serious problem.
Changed router today with new ip addresses.
The PI persisted to the old ip address and I tried an IP release before booting up again (lan).

Now I cant find the PI trough the old or the new network. therefore cannot ssh either.

is it possible to connect a pc with rj45 direct to the PI?
should I remove the sd card and edit files regarding network settings?

You could connect a PC directly to the Ethernet port of the Pi, but you still won't be able to access it. You would also need to have a DHCP server running on your PC.

You would be better off connecting a monitor, keyboard and mouse to the Pi to figure out what is going on.
