Fibaro Roller Shutter 2 FGRM-222

Post by Mike_77 »

trying to insert and use the roller shutter I could not finish the interview.

I got the Error message:
method_guiInit: values[] size differs from number of parameters!

Trying to recieve the configuration parametes was also not succesfully.

The Roller shuter is in the list of released devices.
What is the problem?

I think there's some problem with device XML.
Try updating them first, probably it is already fixed:

Code: Select all

cd /opt/z-way-server/ZDDX
./UpdateXMLs.sh
Update: well, the file appears to be very wrong, as it previously was for FGMS-001.
To fix it, you need to replace type "constant" to "rangemapped" in all parameters, and then correct some ranges according to the manual.

Errors are okay (there are some incomplete files).
As I wrote, the file is currently broken. You may fix it yourself though ;)

Just replacing "constant" with "rangemapped" everywhere in 492-010f-0301-1001-03-03-34-16-16.xml should fix page display, but some parameters might have wrong ranges.

Any progress on this?
My friend Dolan (see discussion in Italian) have a problem with this Roller Shutter that is seen by Z-Way as a switch and not as a sensor

Indeed it presents itself as a switch. This is a break of Z-Wave rules IMHO.... May be do reinterview after calibration (request NIF before)

Anybody was able to make this roller shutter working with Zwave ? Is there any blogpost about it ?
After connecting it I can only hear short blip in device and nothing happens with roller.

Also:
Why it shows that my device seems to be dead ?
Why it shows that roller is closed when it is up ? Even after request for NIF was successful ?

I have the same behaviour. A short relais blip and nothing happens. No idea what I need to change. Anybody out there where it works?
