Secure and insecure mode on UI

Post by tonyg »

I'm using version 2.0 of the firmware and z-way-server

In the expert UI its seems stuck on the insecure inclusion.

I can exclude devices and it tells me the devices are devices 0, and from a foreign network.

I have tried removing zway by deleting the relevant directories then rebooting
i.e.
sudo rm -rf /opt/z-way-server, /etc/*/z-way-server, /etc/*/zbw, /etc/zbw*
sudo shutdown -r now

then doing a reinstall
i.e.
wget -q -O - razberry.z-wave.me/install | sudo bash

it still seems stuck on forcing insecure inclusion with the result that my tkbhome tz-68e devices will exclude with the above message but will simply not include

.....whimper....please help!

Insecure mode should be used only if you are including secure device and want unsecure mode. In normal life just keep it as it and include.

This special mode indeed make inclusion pause for 20 seconds - this is required by the protocol.

What I had not done is to remove all the devices on the network. It has worked now, thank you.
