How can I verify that the Razberry Hardware module is working and communicating with the Raspberry Pi
I have a fresh install on Raspian on Model 2 RaspberryPi
I keep getting a Error handling data from server
I suspect that it is due to the fact that the server is unable to talk to the hardware module
So here are my questions
1.
How can one verify that the Razberry hardware module is working fine (It blinks the LED @ power up)
2.
How can I verify that the Raspberry module is communicating properly via the serial port.
3.
On port 8084 I get a RaZberry Id of 26680. Is this ID coming from the module?
4.
How am I able to do a firmware upgrade when there is no RaZberry Pi module attached to the Raspberry Pi.
I assumed that the firmware upgrade actually updates the firmware in the Razberry module. Is that not the case.
5.
How can I factory reset the RaZberry module.
6.
What are the possible causes of "Error handling data from server". I have gone thru the web and looked at the possible suggestions. I am hoping that a fresh install of everything should fix the issue but no luck. The RaZberry module boots with the LED's. I can open port 8083 and 8084 on the web server but after that I get the "Error handling data from server"
7.
Are there any know issues with running RaZberry on the latest Model 2.
Thanks in advance to any one who helps.

Re: How to test if RazBerry hardware Module is working
I have the same problem
RPI 2 B + and zarberry.
Firmware update to the latest version and reinstall, same problem "Error handling data from server".
I think it's a problem of the latest firmware, if it solves please. How did you do it?

Re: How to test if RazBerry hardware Module is working
I spent way too much time on this.
Unfortunately I have not heard back from the manufacturer.
I ended up buying a new module and with no new change to the RPi - it worked out of the box with the new module.
So it is very clear that the problem is with the module.
There must be a way to factory reset it but I have not found it.
If you find out something - please share and I will do the same.

I'm having the issues, after a controller reset to factory. I was able to get rid of the error message but now the controller does not set the frequency or finish the interview.
Were you ever able to fix your problem? If yes can you outline the steps you took?

@oneguyindc seems you have a broken module. blinking on pwoer up means failed EEPROM. Please do RMA in your shop. We apologize, somethimes it happens (1-3 of 1000)
@johnsilva seems to have another issue (not enough data to evaluate)
