For some reason, my Raspbian OS has corrupted itself for the third time in about three months. This is across two different raspberry pis and two different SD cards. I upgraded to a RPi 2 after the second corruption. I guess I should figure out the backup process since it's annoying to regenerate everything from scratch every time...
Anyway, this newest install on a completely fresh noobs install with a long format of the SD cards seems to work with the following exceptions:
When I try to add a device to the dashboard from the devices page (gear icon on the device on the page that is the icon next to the rooms icon) I get the "unable to update data" pop-up.
There is nothing in the log when this action occurs.
Do I have a botched install, is this a problem with installing rc4 from scratch, or is there something else it could be?
2.2.1-rc4 clean install "unable to update data"
Re: 2.2.1-rc4 clean install "unable to update data"
The problem is now gone. I did install Homebridge and the system got rebooted several times during the process. Perhaps something installed or the reboots fixed it.
