I have ADT in the house, and it let's me add Z-Wave products. I've added some plugs and switch as tests. So far so good.
I'm trying figure out how I can add my doorbell to the system so I could configure alters when someone presses the button. It's 16 Volts, and I'm looking for a z-wave product, that might let me wire it into this thing, so when the button get's pressed, the z-wave device senses that and alters me how ever I configure it.
Make sense?
Any suggestions?

look in the specs for a door sensor with an extra contact or Fibaro universal sensor. May be they can help you

You might try putting a standard door/window sensor next to the coil that throws the doorbell striker. When the button is pressed, it turns into a magnet to move the striker. Should activate a magnetic sensor...

That's what I'm testing, I've seen a lot of posts with people having success with that. So far, I have not been able to get a "Test" sensor to do it, but it could be my positioning. I'm still playing around with it.
