Telnet root password?

Post by Cornelius »

I need to log into my pi via Telnet; running Razberry v2.2.2, but it doesn't accept my 'administrator' password.

Is there a separate default Telnet (SSH) password for root?

RaZberry/Z-Way is not related to SSH/Telnet - this is provided by Raspbian OS. I'm pretty sure you are using Raspbian Jessie, so it is login/password are pi/raspberry. Telnet is disabled for security reasons, use SSH only!

I took the bother to connect a monitor and a keyboard to the pi, and changed the password for user 'pi' with 'sudo passwd pi', and now i can log in via SSH. :)

I had no luck with your suggestion, but thanks for your help. ;)

I've made a typo, password was not raspbian, but raspberry.
