That's All Folks

Post by poordom »

Good afternoon All.

Let me first start by wishing you all, a Happy New-Year.

Now, after spending most of my weekend and X-Mas vacation, trying to re-include my Z-Uno, with Vera, I have come to the great conclusion that, it has become an exercise of futility.

I must have downloaded the Arduino IDE about 30 times, trying to make sure I didn't forget anything in the process, I tried and reviewed all step recommended in the installation of Z-Uno and nothing.

I was one of the first to purchase Z-Uno when it came out, at the time the installation went pretty well with Vera Plus, and Z-Uno was included, I didn't use it then for whatever reason.

Then my Vera went on a fritz so it was replaced, then last month I started playing with Z-Uno again, and nothing doing Z-Uno and Vera don't want to play nice, so I guess its time to let it go, in one last attempt ( Is there a way to determine if Z-Uno is working properly )

Kind Regards All

Hi!

Happy New Year to you too!

Few steps to save your time:
1) Make sure to upgrade to 2.1.5 and burn the bootloader in Z-Uno
2) Make sure to check the frequency selected in Tools menu - should be same as the Vera frequency.
3) Try the rescue mode. Z-Uno should blink red in rescue mode and green in normal mode
4) Do exclusion (remove) prior to inclusion.

Good afternoon PoltoS,

I have proceeded with the recommended steps, without success.

When working with Arduino setup, I noticed the Firmware updater selected, see picture.

Thanks PoltoS for your assistance

Do not use the WiFi tool. Please follow the guide below: https://z-uno.z-wave.me/install
