NotificationChannelEmail error

I'm suddenly being flooded by "NotificationChannelEmail error" messages (see attached Screenshot).
What are they and how can it be stopped?

I checked the log file and found something:

It seems like the system tried to send me an email to tell me, that it cannot send emails ?!?

Sure! I am getting NotificationChannelEmail error like maybe 5-10 times per day. I cannot really see any pattern why and when.

Where do I find the log? Been looking around in both the standard and expert without any success.
