Decipher configuration backup

Post by alfa001 »

Is there any way to decipher the config backup?
I need to deactivate the remote ssh secutity issue in the default configuration, since there is no way to do so in the gui. Expanding remote gives blank row.
There is a constant warning on this "feature" when entering config.

What is the "remote ssh secutity issue" ? Can you attach a screenshot? You can change it in Upgrade -> switch to Remote Access tab in the balck UI and do what you need.

This is the security issue that I would like to disable before starting the service:
--- manual page 23 ---
Right after boot-up, the Z-Way TM controller will connect to the find service announcing its presence. This
is done using a reverse ssh service. The client side of this service is available on the Z-Way TM server and
you can review its work and source code. If you don’t like this service, you can turn it off using the Z-Way
Smart Home Interface . However, be prepared not to have the find service available anymore.

This service does not work on Windows yet. Are you using Windows? If so, you are safe ;)

Using linux, and would like to get rid of the error message and remove the remote exploit before starting the service.

Is it possible to use any of the apis to change/set the configuration? Or list the configuration?

Sure. The easiest way is to change them in the web UI and look in the browser network log for APIs. Or read the doc/sources - they are open on github for the API level
