cant update z-station firmware or bootloader.

if i click on boot loader i get this error after 3 seconds
"Unable to update data. /ZWave.zway/ZMEBootloaderUpgrade"

if trying to update firmware it spins and after like 30sec it reloads but it have not upgraded the firmware.
i did try to change the frequency so it's not stopped during upgrade but that didn't help.

im on firmware: 7.42 and the new one is 7.46
bootloader it stats Bootloader upgrade to 02.04.0005.

That's interesting and concerning. I'm assuming that's the reason there hasn't been a new Z-Way version since July 2024. Given the lack of communication from Z-Wave.Me, I wonder if users will be abandoned once the Z-Wave.Me product inventory is depleted and bills for their cloud-hosted services pile up.

It would be great if information was posted in the "Official announcements" forum rather than wake up one morning to discover the remote service, mobile app and related web sites have disappeared.

Should a new topic be started to discuss options?

Maybe the Z-Way team can open a new topic to give some informations about the future.
My systems are running smooth, but sometimes new features would be good. Even with the Zigbee or Matter support.
I check the forum from time to time to get news.

I would suggest anyone needing official support to post here as well as contact support directly. Someome here might be able to answer the question but if not, at least you have a case opened with support.

One possibility is that since Z-Wave.me is both hardware and software they are partnered in someway with Trident. We could see new Razberry boards and other devices running the Trident chips.

With all that said. I run Z-Way as an add-on in Home Assistant (HA). So the Z-Wave devices are just being fed into HA. More or less Matter support there is better for me than in Z-Way. If there was ever a time I had to switch to other software for Z-Wave than HA has options there as well. I find the tools far better in Z-Way and the form factor better for the hardware I'm running; Raspberry Pi CM4's.

Using the Z-Wave support in HA would make certain things easier but as previously said, the tools in Z-Way are far superior. Which is why I have the setup I use.
