Reset Devices

Post by dario87 »

hi,
I have a problem when I reset the devices.
When I reset the devices can no longer control them with z-way.
I have to enter the interface expert and i must do "(Re-) includes device".
How can I fix the problem?

thanks

Reset is supposed to clear device and clear any information about the network it was in. So, you will not be able to control it after resetting.

So if I replace the battery in a device, must I to do "(Re-) includes device"?

No, device should normally wakeup and continue functioning after battery replacement.
How it is related with resetting a device?

hi
thanks for replies.
I have one "Aeon micro smart switch (2nd edition)" and one "Aeon MultiSensor" device.
When i have a blackout, after I can no longer communicate with the "Aeon micro smart switch (2nd edition)". I have to do "Remove failed node" and after "(Re-)include device".
Removing the battery to "Aeon MultiSensor" device, i have the same problem.
If I put the new battery, I have to do "Remove failed node" and after "(Re-)include device".
I hope I was clear

thanks
