Razberry stability

Hi.

I am new to Razberry.

I am wondering about the stability of this system. I am currently working on a prototype of a product that needs a Zwave gateway, and the Razberry seems to be an inexpencive solution. However, it is critical that the system is stable. What can I expect in terms of stability from this system?

My expereince with the upcoming v2 release candidates that the product has improved quite a bit in stability.
If you are looking in terms of MTBF, those figures aren't there. You also won't find them for any other similar product though.
A lot depends on the environment where you are going to deploy your system. As a safety measure I have installed two Aeotec range extenders to strengthen the Z-Wave mesh.

I need the same kind of stability as for example the Fibaro Z-wave gateway.
Do you know of any commercial products that is using Razberry?

I can recommend the zstick (with z-way), after the issue's I had with RaZberry falling over, I can rely on the USB stick for 24/7 operation (both using z-way-server-1.7.0-rc3)

Looking forward to trying the new UZB version.

I need to have a gateway as small as possible (Razberry is fine) that can be built into a box with some other products. I can not use a full size computer, unfortunately.

I currently use a network/usb server which has the physical connections for both the zstick and an rfx433.

However, with recent changes to the core of z-way-server (v2+) i'm considering turning my RPi into a network/usb server instead

Then grab the serial ports remotely.

Still need a proper PC to run my system though, but I have a server that runs 24/7 so no bother there.

@Rappo: yes, there are several companies using internally Raspberry Pi + RaZberry. But most of companies using our stack are using Z-Way on their own hardware.
