btw I tried upgrading now, and under " preferences->modules->peripherals" I found "Z-Wave binding module" but not "Z-Wave Gate device creator" or "Z-Wave device dead detection"?

Yes, they're removed from the latest builds. Now it is a single "zwave binding" module doing all the job.

I do have them still in Automation. Three Zwave binding modules.

Should I remove them and add one Zwave binding module?
Since 29-12-2016 I am no longer a moderator for this forum

Yes, you can remove them from rc21 onward.
