error with new board on install

hello,
i have installed the new board i received today in my rpi, but i cannot get it to connect.
i get

i actually cannot get it to do anything right now, there is a date of 05.12.14 on the board and the rpi is a b+
On first power on the leds flash red/green but then go off.

Serial port to Z-Wave dongle in the UI is /dev/ttyAMA0, i have run rpi-update and did full updates on all software.

Your RaZ starts normally: self test passed, LED goes off.

But your B+ does not see it as AMA0. Two possible reasons:
1) wrong pins - it should be installed as on the image in the manual - on the corner of the board (pins are named incorrectly in some manuals).
2) configuration of AMA0 went wrong during installation. Need to see /etc/inittab and /boot/cmdline.txt

thanks, i put it on the first set of pins, still not working, i installed raspian base os, installed z-way on the base OS, still not working.
i am returning it.

Not sure it is a problem of RaZberry. May be B+ ports are configured in a different way. May be try another board from your shop or another Raspeberry (depending which is easier to get). In theory it is possible to burn RaZberry board by installing on wrong pins, but we have never seen this yet.
