I using version 2.0 of zway server and stella z's and tk68 relays.
When I set up my z wave network I set up the tk68's interview them and assign their decription files.
I have used the stella z's successfully with a Vera controller, but now I want to use them with the raZberry. I have experienced a few problems though.
The stella z's after the initial interview and assigning the correct description files are well within range of the network but for some reason do accept any more commands after the initial wakeup period. Also I do not appear to get any more temperature or battery updates.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this to be a problem with either the wakeup or polling. I am wondering how to set this on the expert or the blue UI, anyone know?

Re: raZberry and stella Z's
What did you define as polling interval on StellaZ?

Re: raZberry and stella Z's
I think I might of defined a wakeup period rather than an interval. I'm using 300 seconds, do you know if a very long period is set by default. I'll put the information I'm certain of up here tomorrow when I'm back at work.
Re: raZberry and stella Z's
I haven't checked with the newer StellaZ, but the pre-production version that I tested IIRC, was set on a 7 days interval by default. I also remember having had problems with setting these values. Sometimes I had set something that apparantly had not made it to the device. You may have to do a couple of manual wakeups to get it right.
Be aware that with shorter intervals batteries will drain faster. Sending messages is rather "costly" energy wise.

I'm not certain my manual wake ups are working. The green light comes on..etc
Re: raZberry and stella Z's
That wake up time is not polling.
If you want specific data, you need to ask for it.
My system does this automatically, based on class and a whitelist.
I have my wake up set to 5 mins anyways, otherwise you'd have a huge lag when trying to change the temp sp.

Did you try Force Interview, followed by a short push on the wake button of your StellaZ?tonyg wrote:I'm not certain my manual wake ups are working. The green light comes on..etc

Re: raZberry and stella Z's
With modern modulating boilers, one does not need to change temperatures that often. As a matter of fact I only do change heating mode 2-6 times per day depending on the usage type of individual rooms. I hardly ever change the setpoints. What I did learn over time is, that in a big room I need to use different setpoints to optimise the climate. As you could see from my post, I do use a 16 minute interval, which works fine.skiv71 wrote:I have my wake up set to 5 mins anyways, otherwise you'd have a huge lag when trying to change the temp sp.
