can I use raspberry pi B+ with uzb?

Hi there,

I am quite new to the forum and would like to hear some suggestions. Currently I have been using raspberry pi B+ with razberry and it works fine. The problem of razberry is its price like 60 USD. Recently I bought some uzb, the link is here http://www.z-wave.me/index.php?id=28 , it is around half the price of razberry pi. So I am thinking to plug in the uzb to my rpi, but it failed to work.

I have tried to debug using following post or website, none of them works for me:

Also I have changed the z-wave binding dongle serial port to the device id of uzb, also does not work.

So I try to get the logs files for the razberry pi and uzb, I find one sentence from the log of uzb:

[2015-07-27 03:27:26.956] [C] [zway] Device is not compatible. Terminating...

I am curious what is the reason for not compatible? Is it really true or I miss something?

Unless you have purchased the separate Z-Way licence, UZB won't work with the software. RaZberry has the license included, hence its higher price. The UZB+license combo is more expensive than RaZberry.
