Problem using UZB with z-way server on Windows

Post by gucky »

Hi,

I installed the newest z-way server (z-way-server-Windows-v2.0.2-rc2-beta.msi) and got the "Unable to load data" Error message after loging in.

I also tried to use the 1.4 version after uninstalling the 2.02 beta. There I could select my UZB on COM 5, but after the installation finished I got the same error as before.

The stick works fine with IP-Symcon, I only want to use the z-way server to use its backup function. Is there any documentation for the backup function so I could work arround the z-way problem? Or can I do something to get the z-way server to work?

I tried it with Windows 10 and Windows 8.

Cheers,
gucky

It definitely won't work with version 1.4. Your best option is v2.0.2-rc1. Do never start experimenting with beta's if you do encounter problems. I read somewhere that there were problems with Windows10. There are reports of W7 working. I guess W8 should work too.
