I have numerous MK Astral switches and dimmers. The include ok, and all single button devices work fine, but the dual switch units all fail to interview correctly. Only the first channel responds correctly and therefore only the first channel is controllable. Results are:

The device clearly violates Z-Wave protocol by having NodeNaming, Version, MultiChannelAssociation, ManufacturerSpecific in channels. Looks like it does not answer at all to channel requests
No idea... need to hack the device a bit to know how to heal it. For me it looks just not compatible with Z-Wave due to too many violations.
(At least in modern spec SwitchMultilevel MUST be on channel 0 too. Also it MUST answer to SwitchMultilevel on channels 1 and 2 - this is the only needed to render the UI controls in Z-Way)
How can I go about getting some support for this (even if I have to pay)? I am amazed that MK would product something not to spec - especially since they use the Z-Wave certification branding everywhere.
I've made a large investment in the MK Astral switches and don't have any choice but to get them working
Well, probably the only way is to send us few devices for tests, but looks like they do many things wrong, so not sure it is even fixable... Have you tried to contact their support BTW?
Unfortunately they have just discontinued them so I don't believe there would be any support available now. I'd happily send you one as the majority aren't installed yet.
