Hi, I'm having problems with my Razberry z-wave chip. It apparently randomly freezes. Only solution to this is to shut down my Pi, disconnect the power and wait 5 to 10 minutes before i connect the power again.
What can the reason for this problem be? And how can I fix it permanently?
Thanks!
Z-wave chip randomly freezes
Re: Z-wave chip randomly freezes
I have noticed this phenomenon on the UZB1 dongle. Which ZWay software release do you run?
Could you try the following in ExpertUI first menu item Control select switch (if you have those, otherwise sensor). Push there the Update button. In my case the queue started 'running' again.

@thorbj
What do you mean by freeze? Stops receiveing data? Or stops sending too? Try to turn on/off a plug - does this unfreeze it?
Log is required.

It randomly stops receiving and sending data. If i shut down the Pi, and unplug it from power for a few minutes, and then replug it, everyting works fine again.
I'm using the Domoticz software.
Where can I find logs?

Re: Z-wave chip randomly freezes
I can't find any z-way logs under /var/log
Re: Z-wave chip randomly freezes
Then you apparantly are not running Z-Way. You probably better ask on the domoticz forumthorbj wrote:I can't find any z-way logs under /var/log

Re: Z-wave chip randomly freezes
Ok, I thought it maybe was a hw problem with the chip, thats why I asked in this forum. But I'll try my luck at the Domoticz forum.
Thanks anyway!
