Fingerprint reader + Danalock + Razberry

Post by scaary »

Hi,

I'm new to this topic, so I hope you can help me with some of my projects that I've planned.

I'm planning on using a Razberry as my server, since I've made some good experiences with Rapsberrys at my workplace, and I already have one at home and just need the Z-Wave module.

Additionally I have a standalone fingerprint reader at my door. All it does is unlock the litle metal thingy (door handle? ) so that I can push open the door, if it's not locked.

I would like to put a Danalock advice on my door, so that it also locks the door and unlocks the door. For that I need some kind of z-wave device which I can connect to the two cables coming from my fingerprint reader, so it can notify the razberry to unlock the door.

Is there any device that I can use for this, or is my problem too unique?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You could probably use Fibaro Universal sensor it has 2 potential-free inputs, 1 digital input 1-wire (It's only the DS18B20+ sensor that is supported) and 2 potential-free outputs.
