Email alert notifications

Hi there,

I've searched the forum but couldn't find any solution for triggering email alerts when a value changes.
Has anyone implemented a custom solution and are there any plans to have a specific module for this?

There is a 'Notifications' rule, but it doesn't seem to work.

In case you want to try it, run the Home Automation UI, go to 'Preferences' -> 'Automation' -> choose the 'Notification' option

Hi there,

As it seems like 2 years have passed since the last entry, I'm wondering if there is an update to this?

I'm new to zwave and am looking for a way to send notifications via email when an event is triggered. I was told that Pushover would be able to do so, but it turns out that Pushover only sends a message to their apps and not to an email.

For privacy reasons though, what I'm looking for is a way to use a regular SMTP server to send notifications and not a 3rd party like sms.ru. Any pointers much appreciated.

...oops, forgot to mention that I'm using a Popp Hub 2nd gen.
