Heating control ignores schedule?

Post by EmVeeKee »

Hello,

I am struggling with the heating control. It seems that whatever I put in the schedule is ignored and that the thermostat is simply set to the 'Savings temperature'. I tested a number of schedules, amongst others the 'every day 00:01-23:49 22 degrees' shown below. Even when I create this schedule the controller sends a 'thermostat to 17 oC' command, as seen by Sniffer in the Expert UI.

[schedule: nearly full day at 22 oC][https://imgur.com/hZt3kCG]
[transmission: set thermostat to 17 oC][https://imgur.com/z1iHoV5]

When I change the 'Savings temperature' I observe that the updated savings temperature is transmitted. Whatever schedule I put in is ignored, also nothing happens on transitions. Currently running 4.0, same issue in 3.2.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

And an additional question on thermostats. I use a Fibaro heat controller (https://www.fibaro.com/en/products/the-heat-controller/). Inclusion and interview are completely fine and error view. The device also functions nicely when setting a temperature. The temperature read-out, however, is never updated.

The heat controller is not mains powered, but a FLIR device with a decent battery. It thus does not get automatically polled using the 'Periodical sensor polling' app. And apparently it does not sent updates by itself when the temperature changes more than x degrees. In the current z-wave.me interface I can also enable polling for battery-powered devices. However, I have to choose which devices to EXCLUDE. And there are many I want to exclude, and only one which I want to include.

Is there a nice (polling?) solution to this?
